This stitch is pretty much the cousin of the rib stitch: looking like a wide/stretched out version of the 1x1 rib. It's thick, stretchy, and the pattern is reversible. To knit the fisherman's rib: Cast on an odd number of stitches ROW 1: K1, *P1,K1* ROW 2: P1, *K1B, P1* ROW 3: K1, *P1, K1B* until the last 2 stitches, then P1, K1 Repeat row 2 and 3 until desired length or next part of pattern. * * * * * FREE Fisherman's Rib Infinity Scarf Pattern: http://purllin.blogspot.com/2014/10/textured-november-infinity-scarf-free.html * * * * * Into music credit: Silent Partner - Meditation http://www.reverbnation.com/silentpartnerrocks https://www.youtube.com/user/SilentPartnerMusic
